Standley Lake High School (SLHS) serves a diverse population of more than 1,100 students in grades 9 through 12 with academically challenging curricula designed to prepare students for both career and college opportunities after high school. We are an International Baccalaureate World School. In addition, we offer 33 concurrent enrollment credits through Red Rocks Community College. ?Gator Strong? is the foundation of our school culture and is evident in all our work as a school community. The S… LHS Gator community is driven through shared leadership. We value student voice and strive to keep the lines of communication with our families and community open. Standley Lake is committed to being a comprehensive, community high school that offers students the opportunity to grow through not only core academics but also experiences in athletics, fine and performing arts, leadership and Career and Technical Education. Standley Lake High School is an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School offering both the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) and the IB Diploma Programme. While the Diploma Programme serves a cohort of 11th- and 12th-graders, the Middle Years Programme serves all students, including all interests and academic abilities. In addition, SLHS offers 14 AP courses and second language learners with a caring and experienced staff.   Student athletics and activity involvement is highly encouraged through 21 varsity-level sports programs and diverse co-curricular clubs and activities. Many Gator programs compete at the national level. We offer multiple clubs, including Student Government, as well as poms, cheer, speech and debate and our Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) chapter. The music program, including vocal and instrumental, continues to thrive and has seen enormous growth over the past three years. Our marching band completes at a high level in our county and state,  Standley Lake High School is proud to serve a diverse community, with 41% minority students and 33% qualifying for the free and reduced-priced lunch program. We are the proud home of 2 robust center programs for students with disabilities. Inclusivity is a core value we share at SLHS. Mission SLHS is a comprehensive high school dedicated to academic excellence, inspiring lifelong learners prepared to engage the world with empathy and pride.
