Swanson Elementary School, is a magnificent school with a strong sense of community that serves approximately 250 K-5 students in the East Arvada area of Jefferson County. Our staff members are committed to meeting the unique needs of every child, including our students with neurodiverse needs enrolled in our ASD center-based program. Our Data Driven Instruction (DDI) stuctures allow our teachers to use data to accomplish numerous goals: knowing students by name, strength, and need, empowering students as active participants in their education, tracking student progress, and reflecting on our own practices for student academic and behavioral growth. With children at the center of all decisions, we strive to promote student achievement and to provide a safe and welcoming environment for all.
