Walsh School District is a rural district located in the far southeast region of Colorado. Walsh?s current student enrollment for the 2024-2025 school year is 180 students preschool through 12th grade. The mission at Walsh School District is to ensure that all students have a safe and academically rigorous environment in which to learn and that all students entering high school will graduate with the life skills and knowledge required to enter into the workforce, begin a career, or attend colleg…

The students enrolled in Walsh School District are given many great opportunities in addition to the classroom. Walsh Elementary School hosts a Family Literacy Night twice a year to promote family engagement around literacy. Walsh High School offers a variety of concurrent enrollment college classes through its partnership with Lamar Community College, an afternoon work-study program that is available to seniors, as well as numerous extracurricular activities, including FFA, FCCLA, SLT (service learning team), NHS, W-Club, Student Council, knowledge bowl, Eagle?s Oven baking club, Lego Robotics team and bike club.
