Miami-Yoder School District is a small rural district that serves approximately 330 students Pk-12. The school has a strong rooted history in agriculture, leaning more toward ranching than farming. The school has immense support from the parent organization "MYCO" as an outside stakeholder. The middle and high school grades offer basic athletic opportunities while the high school grades offer additional CTE course, concurrent credit, and trade school opportunities. ces the same challenges many districts across Colorado face in teacher recruitment and retention. We have several new or fairly inexperienced teachers. Only 56% of our Core, reading, writing, math, science, social studies instructors are fully endorsed, while the other 44% are working toward licensure. This has a large impact on academic outcomes. Data analysis shows that district level achievement scores have remained within 4 percentile point between 2022-2025 with the highest achievement score being 47.2% and the lowest bing 43.2%. The district level growth scores dropped from 50% in 2022 to 34.2% in 2025.
