District Overview The Revere School District is a close-knit, K-12 rural district with a total enrollment of 135 students (Preschool through grade 12). We operate all grade levels ? preschool, elementary, middle, and high school ? on one unified campus, enabling continuity of support and a strong sense of community. Our mission is to prepare lifelong learners to meet the challenges of a changing global society as responsible citizens in a safe, diverse, and academically challenging environment. …
Focus & Core Strengths Personalized learning in a small environment. With a very low student-to-teacher ratio, we are able to tailor instruction, track individual growth, and intervene quickly when students need extra support. 1:1 technology integration. Every student K-12 is provided a device as part of a 1:1 program. Modern, historic facilities. Our main building, built in the 1920s with Art Deco architectural elements by Temple Buell, is recognized as a historical property and was renovated through a BEST grant to bring it into the 21st century, including updated security, structural, and classroom improvements. Broad academic pathways. To ensure that all students can pursue rigorous and relevant coursework, the district offers: Onsite dual-credit and advanced courses taught by Revere staff Online/digital learning options through various providers Regular use of formative and diagnostic assessments to monitor student growth and proficiency Standardized assessments such as ACT, PSAT, ASVAB, and Accuplacer to guide postsecondary planning Special Programs & Enrichment Preschool (Revere Lil? Raiders). Our preschool program is housed onsite and helps prepare our youngest learners for a smooth transition into kindergarten. Gifted & Talented (GT). The district maintains a Gifted & Talented program to provide differentiated instruction and enrichment opportunities for students who qualify. Cooperative athletics & extracurriculars. Despite our small size, students can compete in state-level athletics through a cooperative agreement with a neighboring district. Clubs & leadership experiences. Students may engage in FFA (Future Farmers of America), FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America), Student Council, National Honor Society, and Lego Robotics, among others. Field experiences & trips. Elementary grades participate in multiple annual field trips to expand learning beyond the classroom and connect with the broader region. Community & Culture Because all grades are located together, Revere fosters a culture of mentorship, continuity, and strong relationships. Staff and students form long-term bonds, and transitions between grade levels are smoother due to shared expectations and norms. The small enrollment and staffing allow for high levels of collaboration, responsiveness, and flexibility. While we serve primarily the towns of Ovid and Sedgwick, our district draws students from surrounding rural areas as well. Our staff includes approximately 21 certified (licensed) employees and 13 classified support staff.
