Trinidad District #1 is a small rural district who is affiliated with SCBOCES (9060). Our preliminary enrollment for SY 24-25 is 793 with 74% minority students, 73% FRL, 1.5% ELL, 1% GT and 12.5% Special Education. The UIP committee met to assess data and to collaborate in developing our UIP, essentially creating a seamless flow between our Strategic Plan and UIP. Trinidad School District has adopted a Strategic Plan with four areas of focus. Instructional Excellence, Career Readiness, Teacher S…
upport and Training, and Community Pride and Support are the focus for district improvement. All schools in Trinidad School District have a STEM Lab. Afterschool STEM programs are offered for students in grades 6-8. Summer School programs are offered to all students in grades k-8. Summer credit recovery courses are offered for students in grades 9-12. Leader in Me is implemented for all students and staff k-12, allowing all students to devleop leadership skills. Trinidad Middle School has implemented the EARRS Program for at risk students. Trinidad High School and Fisher's Peak Elementary School have active Bullying Prevention Programs through the BPEG grant.
