OUR STAFF, STUDENTS and PROGRAMS  Pawnee has had between 80 and 90 students for the last decade with little fluctuation. Recently, however, we have seen a decline in the total number of students in the range of sixty to seventy. Of these students many are new to the district and have brought new challenges with them. The staff of about 20 maintains a safe and productive learning environment for all students. The district has maintained programs for business technology, ag tech, math, science, English language arts, history, music, and art. We offer accommodations for Special Education students, gifted students, and non-traditional students. The district supports high school students with career exploration and college level classes. Gifted Education: The district has a small number of identified gifted students, below publicly reportable numbers. Monitoring achievement and growth of each gifted student will be documented in the students? ALP, or until such a time the district has enough students to include in the UIP. We have one student currently enrolled who is receiving gifted programming and is working on advanced level classes and passion projects during her academic day .
