D38 has a robust strategic plan which includes six strategic priorities; 1) Safe, Healthy and Welcoming Schools, 2) Academic Excellence, 3) Value People and Commit to Continuous Grow 4) Operations and Facility Planning, 5) Fiscal Stewardship and 6) Community Relationships and Communication. D38 measures indicators of student learning (Priority 2), by state and national tests, 4-year graduation rates and college success rates. These results confirm that D38 ranks among the highest performing districts in the state. D38?s high schools? most recent 4-year completion rate was 91.4% in 2023. District schools include two high schools serving grades 9 through 12, one middle school serving grades 7 and 8, five elementary schools serving grades K through 6, and one charter school serving elementary through high school on two campuses.
