Greeley-Evans School District 6 is a district of over 22,000 students serving the communities of Greeley and Evans, Colorado. The district consists of ten elementary schools, seven K-8 schools, four middle schools, one junior high school, and five high schools, one of which is an alternative school, and one of which is an Early College Academy. 3-24 school year, white students made up 28% of the total student population, while minority students made up 72% in District 6. District 6 has served minority students as the majority of the student population since before 2006, with over 80 languages currently being spoken in the District. Students who receive free and reduced meals (F/R) make up 71% of ours student population in 2024. The number of students who are Multi Lingual Learners (ML) has increased over time, with 4,804 students learning English for the 2024 school year. In the past, EL students were primarily Spanish speaking, however, in the last seven years there has been a growing number of refugee students joining the district from Southeast Asia and Africa. Over the last five years, students on IEPs have accounted for 11% - 15% of the student population and students identified as gifted has accounted for 5% - 7% of the student population.
