Summary of Steamboat Springs School District The 2024-2025 Enrollment is 2520 students in grades Pre K-12 Staff: 450 total employees which includes 210 teachers/ SSPs Programming SSSD has offered a full day kindergarten program since 2008-09 SSSD has offered pre school classes at the two elementary schools and one K-8 school since 2021-2022 Concurrent enrollment classes at Colorado Mountain College are available through SSHS and Yampa Valley High School AP Classes are available through SSHS SSHS…
offers 22 athletic programs while employing 85 coaches and has 25 co-curricular/academic opportunities SSMS offers 9 athletic programs while employing 23 coaches and offers numerous clubs and activities opportunities SSMS offers 7 Sports with 19 Coaches. The school also offers numerous clubs and other activities SGS Offers 6 athletics programs while employing 10 coaches. The school also offers numerous clubs and other activities. (Students also are able to participate in four athletics programs at SSMS) During the 2021-22 school year, the district also worked with community stakeholders to create a new 5 year strategic plan. We are currently in year 3 of this plan. These groups included the District Accountability Committee, the SSSD Board of Education, SSSD Administrative Team, and individual school's School Accountability Teams. The District Strategic Plan has a group of administrators that are assigned to each of the 3 Focus Areas on the Strategic Plan. These Focus Area Groups are in charge of reporting progress and updating the Strategic Plan Focus Area 1 - Learning experiences that support students to reach their full potential Focus Area 2 - Building Skills for Students' Lives and Futures Focus Area 3 - Thriving Educators and Community The SSSD UIP for the 2024 - 2025 School Year will use the identified targets set and updated in the Strategic Plan.
