Foothills Elementary School is a lovely neighborhood school located at the base of the foothills in the green mountain area. Foothills Elementary is a comprehensvie pre-K through 5th grade school, with a center-based autism program and serves between 360 and 375 students yearly. Approximately 55% of the student body qualify for free/reduced priced lunch, therefore, Foothills qualifies as a Title I school. xperience and a high-quality student experience. We offer a variety of afterschool enrichment opportunities (chess, Girls on the Run, cooking, spanish, martial arts and choir) and we have embedded STEM learning into academic content. Foothills offers support for the whole child, which includes social/emotional learning for all students. In addition, Foothills employs a full-time school counselor, a full-time school social worker and a part-time social/emotional learning specialist. We have two full-time learning specialists who work with students that receive services through special education.
