About Parker Performing Arts (6719)

A MESSAGE FROM:

Parker Performing Arts

2025-2026

Parker Performing Arts School (PPA) combines rigorous academic instruction in traditional core subject areas with daily training in the performing arts. All students receive a strong, technology integrated, academic foundation in the core subjects (language arts, math, science, and social studies) to prepare them for academic success in high school and beyond.  Performing arts training and regular performance opportunities build students' self-confidence, poise, communication skills, creativity,… problem solving, conceptualization, critical  thinking, cultural awareness and tolerance, personal discipline, and collaboration -- many 21st century skills sought by universities and employers.   Regardless of demographics, educational background or proficiency, we meet students where they are and emphasize growth focused academic and artistic excellence for all students.   PPA endeavors to develop great students, great performers, and great people by: Providing all students with daily arts training (approximately 50% of their day) that builds a well rounded foundation for young students and offers older students extensive choice to explore the arts and pursue their passions. Offering a rigorous, blended learning environment that combines the best of traditional teaching and learning with an innovative, 1:1 technology supported environment, allowing all students to grow and achieve at their highest level.   Create a school culture in which all students are known and feel safe, and where student interest and passion for the arts is used to maximize engagement and belonging in all classrooms. Create a school culture that honors the diversity of the PPA community through use of reflective content and monthly cultural recognition, and emphasizes our shared love of the arts, allowing all students to SHINE.
