dualized instruction and a nurturing environment. Conveniently located near C-470 and Lucent Boulevard, BFA provides families with a rigorous, well-rounded educational option rooted in academic excellence and character development. Our mission is to develop young adults with character like America?s founding Renaissance man, Benjamin Franklin ?well-read, scientifically curious, and civically engaged. This mission is supported by a vision that emphasizes academic achievement, accountability for all stakeholders, and the recognition that education is incomplete without fostering social-emotional learning, character, sports, and nature . To this end, BFA?s Character Curriculum is grounded in Ben Franklin?s 13 Virtues , which are taught, practiced, and celebrated throughout the year. Each month, students focus on one to two virtues?such as Justice, Humility, Temperance, Industry, and Resolution ?helping them develop the habits of respect, responsibility, and resilience that will serve them for life. BFA provides students with engaging academic opportunities, including field trips, differentiated instruction, honors courses, and elective offerings . Middle school students benefit from a 1:1 Chromebook program, PE/Health, STEAM Lab, and Life Skills rotations, as well as extracurriculars like sports, Student Council, NJHS, Thespians, and academic competitions. Our modern 84,500-square-foot facility features state-of-the-art technology labs (including robotics), fully equipped science rooms, a robust library, two gyms, a large art room, a music room, a climbing wall, a turf field, and an outdoor classroom. Parents and teachers work hand-in-hand to support student success. BFA families contribute more than 20,000 volunteer hours annually , enhancing learning, supporting school traditions, and modeling the importance of community engagement.
