Lotus School for Excellence was opened during the 2006-2007 school year. The school provides educational services to students in grades Kindergarten to 12th. Our current enrollment from K-12 is 945 students. We serve a diverse community expanding from different backgrounds and cultures. We have over thirty different languages within our school community. We provide opportunities in the areas of Science, Technology, Mathematics, Arts, and Engineering. Lotus School for Excellence is providing a st… rong foundation with STEAM and reading while providing Gifted and Talented experiences for our students. We are excited to serve a max of 26 students per class. We instill in our students the treasure of having a successful academic career. Our school colors are navy, gold, and red, with our mascot being a lion. Our students are embraced within a social-emotional learning environment at Lotus School for Excellence. We create and mold the whole child here at Lotus. Here are the programs we offer in elementary and secondary schools: Elementary - After school care - Coding, Chess Club, Girls on the Run, Theatre - STEAM Day, Literacy Night, Field Day, Lotus PBIS Store, Second Step - Gifted and Talented lessons - Language Proficiency Classes (English) Secondary - STEAM courses - Participation in National prestigious competitions, such as MATHCOUNTS, Science Olympiads, FTC/FLL/VEX Robotics - Foreign languages (Spanish, French) - 6-12 PLTW (Project Lead the Way) Engineering Program - 6-12 PLTW Biomedical track - School-wide Science Fair
