Vista Peak offers a wide array of high school pathways designed to ignite passion, develop real-world skills, and prepare students for both college and career: Business Pathway: Equips students with knowledge in entrepreneurship, marketing, accounting, and business law to prepare them for careers in business management and finance. Biomedical Sciences Pathway: Provides hands-on learning in human anatomy, disease, and healthcare, supported by opportunities to compete through our HOSA Chapter. STEM Pathway: Offers rigorous coursework in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, with enrichment through Project Lead the Way and Robotics Club. Fine Arts Pathway: Encourages creative expression through drawing, painting, design, and art theory, building a foundation for careers in the visual arts. Digital Media & Communications Pathway: Prepares students with technical and creative skills for the film and video production industries. Design & Multimedia Arts Pathway: Combines traditional photography with digital design skills, including Adobe certification, for careers in multimedia. Fashion Design Pathway: Teaches principles of fashion creation and production, culminating in opportunities to showcase student designs. Manufacturing Pathway (NEW): Offers industry-relevant training and hands-on experience in advanced manufacturing and production technologies. Behavioral Health Pathway (NEW): Equips students with foundational knowledge in mental and behavioral health, preparing them for careers in human services and social work. Agricultural Pathway (NEW section): Introduces students to principles of agriculture, sustainability, and food systems, planting seeds for careers in agribusiness and environmental science. Our Counseling Department has expanded from six to eight counselors, allowing for more personalized support across academic, college/career, and social-emotional domains. Aligned with ASCA national standards, our counselors help students identify their strengths, navigate challenges, and plan meaningful futures. We believe in preparing students not just for graduation, but for lifelong success. The House of Empowerment, Restoration, and Development (The HERD) provides a unique foundation of leadership and emotional intelligence for students. Through restorative practices, emotional regulation strategies, and personal accountability, students become thoughtful leaders and contributors to the school community. Through our Family and Community Engagement (FACE) efforts, we actively partner with parents and local organizations to support student growth. We believe that when families and communities are connected to the school, every student has a stronger foundation to achieve academic success and thrive in society.
