Nikola Tesla Educational Opportunity School is a 7th-12th grade alternative school. The focus of Tesla HS is credit recovery. We operate on a trimester system which allows our students to earn additional credits each term to reach their graduation goal on time or faster than in a comprehensive high school. Class sizes are smaller, affording students more time and individualized attention from teachers. Tesla provides multiple Career and Technical Education (CTE) tracks for students to earn indus… try certifications and hands on learning opportunities as well as project based learning. Tesla Middle School moved to its own campus and operates on a trimester system as well but follows the traditional pacing guides to allow students to transition in and out of comprehensive schools as needed. The Middle School serves a broad population of students with academic gaps and behavioral challenges. Student instruction is individualized and differentiated with a focus on hands on and project based learning.
