Wilson Elementary School in Colorado Springs is located in the southeast region of Colorado Springs School District 11. The average student population is 350 with an average class size of 22. Wilson is a School-Wide Title I school. Wilson serves students in grades PreK-5th. This coming year, Wilson will have the same principal for the third year, and a new AP (former TLC) and new TLC. As a quality neighborhood school in D11, Wilson Elementary School's purpose is to create healthy and balanced learners through courageous collaboration, enriching student experiences, and authentic demonstrations of learning in a safe and inclusive environment. This year, our major improvement strategies will focus on improving data-driven instruction to support strong student learning, and increasing our student SEL supports through our community schools model.
