PCA is an alternative education campus (AEC) in Poudre School District that prioritizes personalized learning approaches, accessible counseling services, and credit recovery. As an AEC, at least 90% of our learners have experienced hardships that qualify them as 'at risk youth.'? Small class sizes at PCA allow us to provide more individualized support and alleviate anxiety. Our school has a CHSAA-sanctioned athletics program. We integrate CTE pathways, service learning and work-based learning op… portunities into the daily schedule. We create a comprehensive high school experience on a trauma informed campus, helping students transition from ?this is my last chance? to ?this is my place.? Our doors are often open 11 hours a day, with clubs, activities, and night school available. Each quarter starts fresh, ending with Experiential Learning Activities like climbing, rafting, and visiting museums to celebrate progress towards graduation. "Strength in Community" is our mission and what defines us as a family of Warriors.?
