About Goddard Middle School (3472)

Goddard Middle School

Goddard Middle School serves about 540 students in 6-8 grade in the Littleton Public School District. We take every opportunity possible to build positive relationships with our families to foster a partership as we navigate the middle school waters. We love our kids, families and community and we are proud to serve a demographically diverse community. Our Shared Mission is to foster a high-performing school that supports continous learning and inclusivity, while providing opportunities for aca demic and social emotional growth. We support our Shared Mission through rigorous academics and instilling high yield behavior characteristics in all students. We have focused our academic targets on preparing all students for success in high school and post-secondary opportunities. This comes from ensuring rigor and relevance in our curriculum and delivery, providing access to learning for all students and instilling a passion for learning. We firmly believe that our diversity is our strength. This diversity gives our students the opportunity to learn alongside others from all backgrounds; mirroring the "real world" we live in. We also believe there are key elements to successfully moving forward suchy an ambitious academic mission. Starting with a growth mindset that supports the belief that intelligence is not fixed, we focus on the continuous development of grit, resilience and the love of learning. Research shows that successful people combine a passion for learning while continously employing dedication and hard work. We believe and reinforce with our students that these life-long skills carry equal weight to intelligence when it comes to future success. Thank you for joining us on this journey.
