Field Elementary School is a dynamic and diverse learning environment. Embracing both a school wide PBIS model, as well as a firm belief in the need for intentional, research-based instruction in social emotional learning skills (based upon CASEL competencies), students at Field are highly engaged in purposeful learning and meet rigorous expectations within the context of nurturing and supportive relationships with peers and staff. 1:1 model was incorporated over the course of the 2020-2021 school year allowing all students in grades K ? 5 to be assigned their own Chromebook to use throughout the year. Extended school day that provides time for extended learning and enrichment for ALL students (7:50a.m. 3:03p.m.) Full-Day Kindergarten including paraprofessional support in each K classroom FREE Breakfast in the classroom daily for ALL students Emphasis on incorporation of SEL curriculum including Second Step and In Focus Co-Teachers working in every grade level to support the needs of English Language Learners A dynamic and diverse Learning Support Services team built to meet the spectrum of needs for students with IEPs On site Before and After School programming available Full time PE, Music and Art teachers who support whole-child development On site Gifted and Talented teacher who provides services for students across all grade levels A vibrant school-wide culture that values academic growth, celebrates diversity, and teaches ''soft'' skills so that ALL students are prepared to be leaders and thinkers in the 21st century Bilingual community liaison who coordinates our parent outreach program including parent cooking classes, food pantry volunteers and classroom volunteers Full Time Social Worker to support the social and emotional development of students and the needs of families Before and After school programs including (but not limited to): Whiz Kids tutoring, Student Leadership Team, Terrific Reader and Writer events, Soccer clubs and school-based teams through Littleton Soccer, and Violin
