About Littleton High School (5224)

A MESSAGE FROM:

Littleton High School

2025-2026

Littleton High School is a comprehensive suburban high school located south of Denver, Colorado. Littleton has a century-long tradition of excellence and community support. It is comprised of approximately 1050 students in grades 8-12 who come from across the Denver Metropolitan area. We are proud to host many out-of-district students who choose Littleton High School for its excellent programs and warm, welcoming school climate. Littleton High School is an IB World School. All students in grades… 8-10 are enrolled in the IB Middle Years Program. Many students continue in the IB Diploma Program. We offer a wide array of Advanced Placement courses, as well as opportunities to enroll in ''dual enrollment'' courses which offer both high school and college credit. Students are supported by an four-year Advisement Program, an English Language Acquisition Program, a Special Education Program, a STEM Certificate Program, and a Gifted and Talented Program. Littleton High School also offers ''Early High School,'' a unique full-day program for accelerated eighth graders. Between 25 and 50 eighth graders participate in this program. The Littleton High School staff is comprised of over 100 adults ? teachers, counselors, administrators, and support staff dedicated to creating a world class school where students are encouraged to follow a path that allows them to ''make a living, make a life, and make a difference.'' Students follow an alternating block schedule, which allows for in-depth learning. Students have access to 24 varsity sports and over 30 clubs and activities. We take pride in being a school where students are able to participate in more than one sport and more than one activity at a time. We seek to balance excellent results with opportunities for all. Our students and staff are supported by several outstanding parent support groups, including PTO, Booster Club, IB Parent Organization, Encore (for support of the performing arts) and a School Accountability Committee.
