Timberview Middle School was opened in 1989 as a traditional middle school in Academy School District 20. Timberview serves as a neighborhood school and a school of choice for families. Currently Timberview has an enrollment of 848. At Timberview our mission is to ensure academic excellence for all. We believe all students can and will learn at high levels. l areas, beginning with academics and spreading into a variety of programming. Academically, the school participates and values Professional Learning Communities, and the MTSS Process. We offer TAG, Special Education Resource, Special Education Significant Support Needs, and Affective Needs programs. We offer a variety of Career and Technical Education courses, Arts, and rich courses for students that includes a Wolf Time for intervention and enrichments. Students can participate in Band, 2D Art, 3D Art, Rock Band, Outdoor Education, Physical Education, Spanish, Robotics, Metals and Woodshop, and a variety of other opportunities. We also offer 14 athletic seasons, including introductory seasons for our 6th grade athletes. Timberview also offers 15 curricular clubs during the school year and a variety of non-curricular clubs. The data analysis process included representation from department leaders, team leaders, teacher leaders, specialists, interventionists, and community members who serve as part of the Timberview Accountability Committee. The school administrative team led the data analysis process that factored in a variety of cause and effect data. The UIP has been reviewed by the school and district accountability committees and the district learning services department.
