Monarch High School serves about 1,500 ninth through twelfth-grade students and we are located in Louisville, Colorado. The composition of students at MHS is 77% White, 11% LatinX, 6% Multi-racial, 6% Asian, and 0% Other. Eleven percent of our student body qualifies for Free and Reduced Lunch (FRL) and 2.6% are English Learners. Monarch High meets or exceeds the Academic Growth and Achievement ratings for the state based on School Performance Framework from 2024 in all areas for CO PSAT/SAT exce…
pt for approaching with multilanguage learners and students with disabilities. MHS exceeds in Postsecondary and Workforce Readiness for all the same groups and continues to be at approaching or does not meet with students with disabilities. The UIP creation occurred through the district's Strategic School Support Process which entailed multiple meetings with school leadership, district leadership, and data support staff. In between each meeting, the principal met with school staff and the School Accountability Committee to debrief on the process and gather input along the way.
