Centaurus High School is an International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma and Engineering focus school with robust Advanced Placement (AP) and Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID) programs. In addition, Centaurus has a wide variety of both advanced and regular-level courses, including concurrent coursework through Front Range Community Colleges that allows students to earn college credit before graduation. It has strong Music and Art programs and a diverse offering of electives. Centaurus …
also has a robust STEM program, offering classes in multiple engineering pathways, industry certification, work-based learning, and computer sciences. Centaurus has seen significant enrollment growth, with a total enrollment of 1572 for the 2024-25 school year. Centaurus has an active School Accountability Committee (SAC) that engages with the principal around the development and assessment of the schools Unified Improvement Plan. The Centaurus SAC was updated throughout the spring 22-23 school year and in the fall and Spring of the 23-24 school year on the creation of the UIP, as well as in reflecting on the success and continued areas for growth of the identified objectives.
