Peakview Elementary is a neighborhood school in the Eaglecrest High School feeder within the Cherry Creek School District in Centennial, Colorado. Peakview opened in 1991 and has celebrated over three decades of success. Peakview was opened with the philosophy of focusing on the whole child while also inspiring critical thinking, innovative thinking, and making a positive contribution to our community and our world, which is still an upheld philosophy. FEELS seen, heard, and loved ENGAGES in collaborative learning with curiosity ACTS with courage, empathy, and kindness CREATES innovative solutions that empower them to contribute to their community. Our mission in 2021 was Believe It, Achieve It, ONE TEAM, and evolved into ONE NEST during the 2023-2024 school year. Each of our students is assigned to one of five nests, allowing them to build relationships throughout our school and connections beyond their grade level. This focus on building a strong community has helped our students build the confidence to take risks as they are exposed to various high-quality instructional practices. Our staff supports our students with strong academic achievement, focusing on a growth mindset, whole well-being, equity, relationships, and engagement, which are also our school district's core values.
