Skyview Elementary is one of 33 elementary schools in Adams 12 Five Star School District and is located in Thornton, Colorado. It serves approximately 320 students in grades K-5 and reflects a student body that is ethnically, culturally, linguistically, socio-economically, and academically diverse. Our student population is 52% male and 48% female. Our student body is composed of the following: 49% Hispanic, 36% White, 4% Two or More Races, 7% Asian, and 4% Black. The school is served by principal Jason Shiroff and a 0.5 assistant principal, Julie Luoma. There are 32 certified staff members: 14 general education classroom teachers, 2 SLS classroom teachers, 2 learning specialists, a full time speech pathologist, a halftime speech pathologist, a fulltime social worker, a half time social worker, and a fulltime instructional coach. Skyview also has 1 interventionist and a full-time Social Emotional Learning Specialist.
