About Brighton High School (1022)

A MESSAGE FROM:

Brighton High School

2025-2026

Brighton High School is a school of nearly 1750 students. The student population is diverse with seven distinct ethnicities represented, however, the majority of the population is 58.8% Hispanic and 36.2% Caucasian. All other ethnicities make up the remaining 5% of the population. Brighton High School is located in a small community just to the Northeast of Denver Colorado and is a part of one of the fastest growing school districts in the state. This growth is causing significant changes to the… demographics and a need for significant funding increases for both capital and human resources. Brighton High School provides all students opportunity to take be successful in rigorous coarse work including Advanced Placement (AP) courses, Honors courses, and pathways leading to Career Tech Ed Industry Certifications. Additional support to students is provided by programs such as AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) and every student is in an Advisory class which helps support the Social and Emotional needs of our students. In Advisory we have implemented a new resource called ORI, which focuses specifically on SEL skills. The UIP was created as a collaborative effort between the Brighton High School Administrative team and Instructional Coaches, and Instructional Leadership Team.
