Tiger Trades Academy (TTA) is an alternative campus option for students in the East Otero School District. The school is designed to meet the needs of students who have not been successful in the traditional high school setting or may want to pursue skills to directly prepare them for the workforce upon graduation. In this setting, students complete the majority of their core courses through an online platform with the support of face to face teachers and paraprofessionals. Electives consist of … classes that prepare students with skills in areas like construction trades, music, art, technology and gaming, and other skill based professions. These electives are hands on with live instructors. Students are also exposed to work experience opportunities outside of the school with local business partners. ? Students are nurtured to clearly communicate, to take responsibility, and to adapt through a comprehensive education that prepares them for post-secondary education, military and/or workforce readiness. We aim to empower students and adults to lead lives of purpose and impact by fostering a culture of inclusion, respect, and forever learning. Our collaborative approach ensures that everyone feels valued and supported in our shared journey to success.
