Strawberry Park Elementary is a rural school located in Northwest Colorado in the town of Steamboat Springs, CO, serving approximately 370 students in grades PreK through 5th grade. This student population includes approximately 24% minority, 11% English learners, 9.5% special education, and 2.9% gifted. Our mission is to serve all of these students by creating a safe community that empowers students to grow academically, socially and emotionally while thinking critically and embracing diversity…
. Our vision is for our students to confidently navigate and positively contribute to an ever-changing world with tenacity, independence, and kindness. Every student has access to STEM, art, music, PE, World Cultures, and the library weekly. Strawberry Park offers robust interventions to all students to support their academic achievement. All students participate in a daily Morning Meeting, which promotes strong relationships and social-emotional learning.
