Northridge Elementary is a STEM focused, Title 1 school in the St. Vrain Valley School District. Northridge Elementary serves a diverse population of students in preschool through fifth grade. Our school population is approximately 275 students, and 72% qualify for free and reduced lunch, 57% are multilingual learners, 86% of our students are Hispanic while 12% are white. students both during and outside of the student contact day. We offer a Biliteracy option for students in grades K-3 whose first language is Spanish. Our special education programming includes an integrated ECSE preschool classroom, Resource model and a Center Based ASD program. Other programming includes: bi-weekly Innovation Lab time co-taught by classroom teachers and our STEM coordinator, Integrated Morning Meetings, Daily In-Focus SEL instruction, i-Ready Instruction, extended learning after school in the Achievement Acceleration Academy, VEX IQ Robotics, STEM Engineering Club, 100 Mile Club, Garden Club, Soccer Club, Ukulele Club, Mindfulness and Movement, and Executive Functioning Skills Lessons using Zones of Regulation. Our school property includes a garden that is planted, cared for and harvested by students across grade levels..
