About Colorado Early Colleges Colorado Springs (1795)

A MESSAGE FROM:

Colorado Early Colleges Colorado Springs

2025-2026

Unique to Colorado Early Colleges Colorado Springs is that fact that all students are afforded the access to college coursework as soon as they are ready. CECCS is the first school in the CEC Network of Schools and was established in 2007. CECCS strives to meet the mission of CEC which states "All students, regardless of background of skill level, will have the opportunity to pursue a growth mindset that will allow them to achieve mastery and to demonstrate that they can succeed in school, in co… llege and in their chosen career. No exceptions. No Excuses." While CECCS was founded as a high school, a middle school was established in 2021 and a Homeschool Academy in 2024. CECCS has maintained a Performance rating since 2015. Over the last ten years, CECCS has concentrated efforts on aligning curriculum to ensure a rigorous high school and college prep program particularly in English Language Arts and math, increasing professional development to empower teachers with effective instructional strategies and improve student engagement. With the addition of the CECCS Middle School, CECCS has established additional structures to improve school culture and climate through building a robust Positive Behavior Implementation Systems, added additional staffing in mental health, instructional coaching and educational support staff, and established a teacher mentor program. Additionally, CECCS has expanded programming across the 15-acre campus and now offers new and in-demand career exploration courses like Biomedical Science, STEM, Robotics, and Drones. All of these improvements have led to increased student graduation achievements with 100% of graduates over the last four years earning either a full associate's degree, 60 college credit hours, or an industry certificate.
