Palmer Ridge High School is one of two high schools in Lewis-Palmer School District 38 in suburban Monument, Colorado. Palmer Ridge offers rigorous curriculum aligned to Colorado Academic Standards with a focus on college and career readiness. It officially opened its doors on August 14, 2008. Our current student enrollment for 2024-2025 is approximately 1,100 students in grades 9 through 12. Palmer Ridge utilizes an alternating block schedule with four, 89 minute periods per day. PRHS offers a wide range of Academic Placement (AP) courses in addition to standard college prep courses. Strategic curricular options also exist within special education and career exploration. Additionally, PRHS provides specialized programming for credit recovery, work-based learning, online learning, Career and Technical Education (CTE), and concurrent and dual enrollment. Extracurricular opportunities exist for students in athletics, the arts/music, and clubs.
