Broadmoor Elementary is a K-6 school serving approximately 340 students. The 2024 CMAS results indicate the Broadmoor Elementary had the highest reading scores in the Pikes Peak region at 77.1% of 3-6 grade students meeting or exceeding state expectations. The combined math and reading scores ranked Broadmoor Elementary second in the region with a .4 total percentage point difference from Broadmoor and the top ranked school. nsistent growth, as measured by the school performance framework. We currently have a score of 90.5/100, which is a ten point improvement over the previous year. Broadmoor Elementary benefits from strong parent support, an experienced staff with low turnover, and a positive school culture which is focused on student learning and social emotional development. In 2023-2024 our student population (324 students) consisted of 7.1% Gifted and Talented, 15.4% in Special Education, 2.2% English Language Learners, 7.1% on 504 plans, and 1.5% immigrants. In 2023-2024 our free and reduced lunch percentage was 14%. We are proud to house one of two Autism programs in Cheyenne Mountain School District at Broadmoor Elementary that meets the needs of students with significant Autism and communication challenges. The Broadmoor Elementary staff has been focused on student learning and best practices in the area of mathematics, and will continue this work during the 2024-2025 school year.
