2022-2023
For the 2022/23 school year the Southwest Colorado eSchool continues to be a public, comprehensive 6th-12th grade public online school serving southwest Colorado school districts that are associated with the San Juan Board of Cooperative Educational Service (SJBOCES). Coming out of the COVID impacts to our school and our districts we are seeing changes to our enrollment. Additionally we are working hard to support our area districts by utilizing CDEs waiver process for students and families that…
are not prepared to return to in person learning. The students of the Southwest Colorado eSchool have had continued success throughout the pandemic period and felt less than typical impacts or academic interruption. We continue to emphasize individualization for students in an effort to meet their needs. Additionally, student and family relationships are being focused on for the 2022/23 school year for our online students. Lastly, additions and updates have been made to our enrollment and onboarding process to ensure that students start the year prepared for the online environment.
