Pueblo County High School has an enrollment of 1,150 students during the 2024-2025 school year. Enrollment has steadily increased over the last 10 years. The school is located in the St. Charles Mesa area of Pueblo County, CO. It sits approximately 10 miles outside of the city limits of Pueblo, CO in a rural area. It is one of three high schools in Pueblo School District No. 70. The feeder schools consist of four elementary schools and two middle schools. Pueblo County High School has a high num… ber of English Language Learners and Free & Reduced students, and many of the students live well below the poverty line. Pueblo County High School's Free & Reduced numbers range from 40% to 50%, depending on the local economy. Many of the English Language Learners live year around in the community, and are not in the category of migrant learners. Pueblo County High School's current performance rating from the State of Colorado is Performance Plan: Meets 95% Participation. The academic performance of Pueblo County High School students on state mandated testing has shown a slight upward trend over the past 10 years. The school consistently maintains a Performance rating over a 3-year average.  Pueblo County High School has dedicated staff of one principal, 67 teachers, three counselors, three assistant principals, one academy coordinator, and 22 support staff.
