Montezuma-Cortez High School (M-CHS) is a public high school located in Cortez, Colorado, dedicated to preparing every student for success in college, career, and community life. Our school emphasizes academic rigor, hands-on learning, and personal growth through a wide range of courses, programs, and extracurricular opportunities. M-CHS offers diverse academic pathways including STEM, Media Arts and Computer Science, Career and Technical Education (CTE), World Languages (Spanish, French), and a… growing selection of dual-enrollment and concurrent courses through partnerships with Pueblo Community College. Students can also participate in specialized programs such as E-Sports, Knowledge Bowl, Fine and Performing Arts, and Work-Based Learning opportunities that connect classroom learning with real-world experience. At the heart of M-CHS is a commitment to student achievement, character development, and community engagement.
