Crested Butte Secondary School (CBSS) lies at the northern end of the Gunnison Valley in western Colorado. Enrollment for the 2025-2026 school year stands at 409 students - 185 middle school students and 224 high school students. CBSS provides excellent academic opportunities for our students, including ten Advanced Placement courses, as well as numerous athletic teams and student clubs. As a school, we pride ourselves on being a small, connected community that focuses on developing strong relat… ionships between staff, students, and parents.
