A MESSAGE FROM:

Alamosa Elementary School 3-5

2025-2026

The completion of the Data Analysis Worksheet began with our Unified District Implementation Team, School Leadership Team and building administrators. We then worked with our School Accountability Team and staff leadership team; defined notable trends, prioritized performance challenges, determined root causes and identified next steps. Alamosa Elementary 3-5 school's population is 480 students with 73% minority, 70% of our population receives free lunch and 19% qualifies for reduced lunch. As a… school we implement best first instruction with appropriate, aligned interventions in order to ensure that students receive quality instruction. Third grade teachers implement the Science of Reading and Ascend, fourth and fifth grades implement Read Naturally Live and IXL. The schedule is designed to provide quality instructional time to all students. Instructional strategies are planned, delivered and monitored to meet the challenging needs of a diverse student population. Instructional services are provided to students to address individual needs and close learning gaps. Classroom instruction and assessments are frequent, rigorous, and aligned with grade level standards. Using our school data, the team identified notable trends. High priority performance challenges were documented and root-cause analysis was conducted. Priority performance challenges were ranked in order of urgency. The team then set student centered targets and identified resources and interim assessments. The Alamosa School District created a Strategic Master Plan that involved all stakeholders; community, teachers, administrators, & students. The strategic master plan is focused on solutions to move Alamosa School District forward.
