State seal of Colorado to represent State Board of Education

State Board approves ratings for Colorado schools
Of Colorado public schools, 68 percent earned the state's top accountability designation. A total of 611,268 students, or 70 percent of the state's public school students, attend one of the 1,239 schools that received a Performance Plan designation.

New State Board rules require elementary, math, science, social studies and English language arts teachers to complete Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Education training within their next five-year license renewal cycle.

Ute Resource Guide available
Nuu~ciu Strong is a resource guide for fourth grade teachers to use to support teaching the history, culture and present lives of the Ute People. It was developed in collaboration with Colorado's Ute Tribes and the Colorado Commission on Indian Affairs, among others.
