State Board upholds Boulder Valley's denial of charter school application
The State Board of Education at its February meeting denied a second appeal by Ascent Classical Academy to establish a charter school in the Boulder Valley School District.

Colorado Preschool Program celebrates 30 years
For the first time, longitudinal data shows children funded through the Colorado Preschool Program had better on-time graduation outcomes than their peers with similar risk factors who were not in CPP.

Statewide student enrollment growth slows
Colorado public schools experienced the smallest increase in enrollment of students in nearly 30 years, only about 0.1 percent. Total statewide enrollment was 911,536 public school students.
