Competitive Grants and Awards
Funding Status for FY2020-2021 State Competitive Grants
With the significant loss in revenue due to the economic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Colorado legislature had to make a number of budget cuts to state competitive grant programs to ensure a balanced budget.
Click here for a table that provides an overview of changes made to state-funded grant programs for the 2020-2021 fiscal year. Please feel free to reach out to the applicable grant program manager with any questions.
The 2021 legislative session will start in January. At that time, the discussions for the 2021-22 fiscal year will begin, and the department will have a better idea of the potential for this grant program to be funded for the next fiscal year. Grant program managers will continue to provide updates as more information becomes available.
