Council for Europe
The Council of Europe was very heavily involved in co-operation with Bosnia and Herzegovina. The teaching of national histories in secondary schools in South Eastern Europe and history curricula development were the topics of seminars held in Sarajevo in 2002. This painting, originally done in 1888, was presented as a photo in the 1990s as a “Serbian boy whose whole family was killed by Bosnia Muslims.
Remembrance
The Srebrenica Genocide Memorial, officially known as the Srebrenica–Potočari Memorial and Cemetery for the Victims of the 1995 Genocide, is the memorial-cemetery complex in Srebrenica set up to honour the victims of the 1995 Srebrenica massacre.
Resistance
An exhumed victim of the Srebrenica Massacre is reburied in the annual memorial ceremony at Potocari, Bosnia and Herzegovina. July 11, 2007.
