Overview
When students engage in Career Development, they:
- know the difference between jobs, occupations, and careers
- can articulate local, regional, national and global career pathways and opportunities.
- consider economic and cultural influences and the impact of stereotypes on career choice
When meaningfully implemented, the practice of cultural responsiveness and equity is expected.
Guiding Questions

- Are staff working with students to draw real-world connections to course materials?
- Are staff working with students to ensure that skills are being developed and strengthened? How are students keeping track of their development and progress?
- How does your school highlight student success? How do you help students to reflect upon missteps to correct them in the future?
