CoMath Update for May 8, 2023
It's Teacher Appreciation Week! This week has me thinking of my math teachers: Mr. Dirks, who took me in as a 6th and 7th grader, let me help with class and got me on the MATHCOUNTS team. Then there was Mr. Darland in 8th grade followed by Mr. Mouw, Mrs. Van Dyke, and Mr. Jones in high school. I learned so much and they helped open so many doors for me, and I appreciate them for it. Just like I appreciate teachers now -- it has its rocky moments, but day by day you help create the opportunities our students need to be happy, productive, and successful.
