Teaching the Personal Financial Literacy expectations embedded within the Colorado Academic Standards is supported through a wide array of free instructional resources. This webpage lists classroom resources for K-12, educator professional development, scholarship opportunities for students, and instructional tools for teaching personal finance. If you are an educator in Colorado and have suggestions for a great free resource please email Alyssa Wooten. For additional opportunities please check Professional Development.
Teachers use a 20-lesson curriculum to help students learn about international business, trade, currency exchange, diplomacy, and responsible credit card use in a fun, hands-on way. The experience is so different and so engaging, and the way it motivates students to learn is truly incredible. It’s no wonder teachers sign their classes up year after year!
