Technical Advisory Panel: Rural Representative Membership Opportunity

CDE is seeking one rural representative to serve on the Technical Advisory Panel for Longitudinal Growth (TAP). The TAP serves as an advisory body to the Department of Education regarding the implementation of the Colorado Growth Model and the Educational Accountability Act. TAP members are appointed by the Commissioner of Education and serve three-year terms without compensation. Applicants must represent a rural community in Colorado and demonstrate expertise with educational assessment, growth (including the Colorado growth model), research, and/or accountability. Applicants must submit a statement of interest and resume using the form below to be considered.

Overview

The Technical Advisory Panel for Longitudinal Growth (TAP) consists of state and national experts on longitudinal measurement of academic growth for state accountability purposes, convened by the Commissioner of Education to provide recommendations to the State Board of Education. The TAP was created in accordance with the Education Accountability Act of 2009 (SB-09-163). All meetings are open to the public.
