Title I G - Advanced Placement Exam Fee Program
ESCAPE: Eliminating Student Cost for AP/IB Exams
The AP/IB Test Fee program awards grants to eligible State educational agencies (SEAs) to enable them to pay all or a portion of advanced placement test fees on behalf of eligible low-income students who (1) are enrolled in an advanced placement course and (2) plan to take an advanced placement exam – AP or IB. The program is designed to increase the number of low-income students who take advanced placement tests and receive scores for which college academic credit is awarded.
Title IV B- 21st Century Community Learning Centers
The purpose of this competitive grant program is to establish or expand community learning centers that provide students, particularly those who attend high-poverty and low-performing schools, with academic enrichment opportunities along with activities designed to complement the students' regular academic program..
Title V B- Public Charter Schools
This program provides financial assistance for the planning, program design, and initial implementation of charter schools and the dissemination of information on charter schools. Grants are available, on a competitive basis, to states. States in turn make subgrants to developers of charter schools.
