Bullying Prevention and Intervention Resources

  • One Colorado: One Colorado is an advocacy organization "dedicated to advancing equality for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) Coloradans and their families."
    • Make it Safe: A resource guide for students combating bullying, homophobia, and transphobia in schools (PDF).
  • PACER Center's Kids Against Bullying: An interactive website for younger children that includes videos to help kids understand bullying and what they can do to stop it.
  • PACER Center's Teens Against Bullying: A website for teenagers that includes videos and quizzes to help teenagers understand bullying and what they can do to stop it.

  • Anti-Defamation League: The mission of the Anti-Defamation League is "to stop the defamation of the Jewish people and to secure justice and fair treatment to all."
    • Building Respectful School Climates Webinar Series: "As part of the Anti-Defamation League’s ongoing efforts to provide current, relevant and quality educational resources, ADL is pleased to offer a free webinar series: “Building Respectful School Climates.” Educators, parents and members of the community can learn practical strategies and tips for addressing bias and bullying and creating a positive school climate from the leading provider of anti-bias education programs and resources."
  • Colorado Education Initiative (CEI): "The CEI is an independent non-profit that collaborates with the Colorado Department of Education, schools and districts across the state to accelerate achievement for all Colorado students."
  • Colorado Department of Health and Environment (CDPHE): The CDPHE has developed a School Climate Toolkit for Public Health Practitioners (PDF) that specifically looks at bullying.
  • Safe and Welcoming Schools: CEI's webpage on safe and welcoming schools provides educators with tools and information on how to connect one's school with professional development and grant funding for changing school climate.
  • Colorado Framework for School Behavioral Health Services: This webpage from CEI provides a graphic on the framework within which Colorado works to provide behavioral health services.
