Overview

These resources provide curriculum overview writers and/or users more information about the curriculum project and overview templates. The first video is a general overview of the sample curriculum project and the essential components of the overview templates that may be referenced in future presentations. The presentations that will follow are content specific to illustrate the unique attributes applied in each content area.

A Process Guide for Translating the Colorado Academic Standards into Curriculum (DOC) (May 16, 2013)
This Process Guide reflects an amalgamation of the processes used by the SIS team and Colorado educators during the fall 2012 workshops to translate the Colorado Academic Standards (CAS) into curriculum (unit overview) samples. We hope this guide will deepen understandings of the CAS and spark conversations about creating curriculum, for all content areas and grades, that truly embodies CDE's mantra of "all student, all standards."
