Data Pipeline Interchanges: Title I

Overview

The Title I Interchange is used to identify students who receive Title I targeted assistance funding. Only students receiving services funded by the Title I targeted assistance monies should be loaded into the interchange. This interchange is used in the Student October snapshot, End of Year snapshot, and Consolidated State Reporting.

Deadlines

2024-2025

The 2024-2025 Student Interchange files are open for uploads and will close in December 2025 with the end of the 2024-2025 Student End of Year Collection.

2024-2025 Title I Interchange Timeline (PDF)

2025-2026

The Title I Interchange opened 8/29/2025 and will close December 2026 with the close of the Student End of Year Collection.

November 10, 2025 is the state deadline for all LEAs to submit their Student October snapshot data which requires the Title I Interchange file for schools operating Targeted Assistance programs.

Templates

Please note that there is a change in the 2025-2026 Title I Part A Targeted Assistance File template. This template can only be used for the 2025-2026 Student October collection going forward. If you need the template for the 2024-2025 End of Year (still open until December 2025), you will use the 2024-2025 template.
